iPhone 4 update??

I've been trying to figure out any possible way to get the new update on my iPhone 4 and no luck so far.. Anyone know of a way to do a free jailbreak?

More than likely, your phone is too outdated for any of the 'new' jailbreaks, but that's just my assumption. Hopefully, someone who is knowledgeable in regard to the latest jailbreaks will respond soon. By the way, please be patient and do not create threads in this regard in other sections of the forums. Thanks.

The iPhone 4 cannot go past 7.1.2, which you can verify at the IPSW site. Sadly, without new hardware, you cannot get to iOS 8 or later.

BUT 7.1.2 is jailbreakable. If you wanted to jailbreak, I would recommend a fresh install of 7.1.2, then using Pangu 1.2.1 to jailbreak.
