Is Pangu the jailbreak software for ios 8

I have the 6+ running 8.1.2. I can't find an exact answer but is Pangu what I will use to jailbreak? Just need a simple answer. Thanks guys and gals.

I don't think its been update to be used with 8.1.2

8.1

For 8.1.2, your only option is Taig. (unless Pangu has updated in the past 48 hours).

i wish they did update it. i restored my device because the taig jaiblreak for e adds over 700mb in data and other folder sooner as i open cydia. no one else seemed have issue and no one seemed to know how get that space back. guess im only one so im not jail breaking anymore

Yes, the TaiG jailbreak is for sure the way to go for 8.1.2!! It works beautifully, just be sure to follow instructions to the letter. YouTube is your friend. (I would post the link of the guide that I used, but I'm shy a few posts). The channel was by a guy named iCrackUriDevice look for the TaiG jailbreak of 8.1.2.

Finally jailbroke my iPhone. It's running smooth and normal. Haven't noticed a huge decrease in battery like I've read before. Just need to have some time to look through cydia

Taig. Wasn't sure if it would go through because my brother in law did the update OTA (he had it before me) and read sometimes it wouldn't work.
