The update also removes references to PPSync and the pirated app store that were initially included in Pangu 1.0.

I don't see a great reason to update and re jailbreak either.

You should ALWAYS be on the absolute latest iOS you can be...
I don't have a good reason for this.
It's just my very strong opinion... Therefore I present it as fact...

Granted but then a lot of tweaks and apps are not updated yet. But alas some of the things I relayed on in the past still don't even have 64-bit support. I'm assuming Apple isn't going to patch this JB until ios8 comes out so I'm taking a wait and see approach for now and going to hang tight on 7.0.6.

So found out what my weird reboot with the apple logo fading like a blind. It was a tweak that involved the NC. I removed and fine since.

iOS 7.1 jailbreak by far more stable than when I was on 7.0.6

I jumped to 7.1.2, had to change a few of my tweaks... Using cloaky instead of only springtomize 3, home screen designer instead of gridlock.
I have to manually enable btstack to play video game emulators.
But my phone looks the way I want it, it runs the way I want it, so I'm pleased!
Rejailbreaking is always a hassle, but there is something "fresh" about a new jailbreak that I enjoy

For users like me getting the reboot glitch or black shade reboot.. Its a issue with pangu 1.1 and if you install complete PPSync Remover tweak on pangu 1.0. I have trouble shoot with this. This shows up more on white versions and will not see this on a black version, just the panic log WDT Timeout. More info is here iPhone 5 7.1.2 Boot Crash - JailbreakQA

Hi,

I previously updated my iphone to IOS 7.1.1 then jailbroken using Pangu 1.1.0. I have now updated my iPhone to 7.1.2 and tried to re-jailbreak (again with same package Pangu 1.1.0) but Pangu now says that my device is already jailbroken. When i did the update to 7.1.2 the cydia icon disappeared but some of the other tweaks still remained. I have now deleted all the tweaks and I have reset both my computer and iphone but when i run Pangu it still says that it is still jailbroken (i cant move on from there - jailbreak button greyed out).

I have also restored my last back up and Pangu still says its jailbroken

Has this happened to anyone else?
Anyone know how to fix this?
Is there another jailbreak for IOS 7.1.2?

iPhone: 4s
IOS: 7.1.2 (updated through iTunes)

Thanks in advance, all help very welcome !!!
