Jailbreak form ios 6.1 to ios 7.0.6

I'm trying today to upgrade my iphone 5 to ios 7.0.6 because i'm right now on the ios 6.1. I was trying to upload manually an ios file .ipsw on itunes but it always says an error message like this iphone can't be upgraded because it's not compatible with this version. Can someone help me please? Thanks

Sorry to say.... You're too late. 7.0.6 is no longer... So your only options are to stick with 6.1 jailbroken or upgrade to 7.1 and lose the jailbreak.

Sorry... Apple is no longer signing for 7.0.6. No way to update to 7.0.6.

Just confirming you are stuck on iOS 6 if you want a jailbreak?
In case you are one of those people who thinks you can change the answer by rejecting what you have been told.

Yeah as long as you are on a firmware that is able to be jailbroken by evasion or ihatesnows tool then you are good.

Is it better to use directly evasion or to use a soft call semi restore(I don't know this one)

Well if you are currently jailbroken, but want a "clean slate" do the steps for the semi restore?
If i recall correctly, it was pretty solid on ios6.
It'll make you "stock" ish? then jailbreak away

It'll upgrade to 7.1

You'll have to use a tool such as semi-restore if you want to maintain your jailbreak

Would be nice to use semi-restore but it's just on windows and i have a mac! Is it worth to keep jailbreak on ios 6.1 or losing it a restart a new iphone (maybe without my little bug) on ios 7.1?

You could try iLEX RAT from Cydia and see if that would work for you

i instal ilex rat but when i run it on mobile terminal i do not have the option 12 who's supposed to be ilex restore... could you help me please?

Try opening the iLex Rat tool and restore from there.

sorry but i don't have any app on the home screen... I've installed ilex by going on safari on my iphone and then download the zip file, installed it with ifile and the runn it with mobile terminal like it's explain on the ilex web page... Is it because I have the ios 6.1?
