So I have been trying to remove zeppelin and can't !!!! Thought maybe I could download icleaner pro and clean things up and it would uninstall. Nothing happening won't install I cleaner pro at all. Yay !!!!! As a matter of fact I can't install anything at all from Cydia. .... Only option I can come up with in my little pea brain is to backup and restore .... Can I restore to a backup and then rejailbreak or am I going to have to go to 7.1 ???? Please tell me no I love my jailbreak !!!! Help please !!!!

While this seems to be fixed, it appears you're confused as to what a backup is.

Think of a backup as your furniture and new iOS versions as different apartments/houses/whatever. When you move between apartments, you can bring your furniture with you and it's almost like you didn't move. There's some new scenery and the new place has some features the old one didn't. But, it feels like home because you brought your stuff with you.

That's basically how a backup works. It has no influence over the actual iOS. As such, you can't use it to make your phone able to jailbreak. All it does is bring data so that your new iOS install feels more like "home."

Talking about your theory, :rotfl: I seem to have updated to iOS 7.1. (Which removes my jailbreak. Yes, I know, you can't jailbreak it.) I tried to move back to my old 7.0.6 (not that old) and used this method.
However, I got an error. I forgot to write the error code down, but I've got the log here:
