DL a tweak in Cydia call Classic Dock, remove background that way

If what rdiddy said doesn't work, try Transparent Dock. I use that for my phone and it's in Cydia. I had the same problem with the blurry dock screwing up my home screen. Bad move on Apple's part to create that blurry dock in iOS7 IMO.
