I have an iPhone 4S on 6.1 jailbroken and an iPad 2 on 5.1.1 jailbroken. Is it worth upgrading one, or the other, or both to the iOS7 jailbreak? Should I just wait for 7.1?

Personally, I'd wait until more Cydia tweaks are updated to support iOS7. If I still had my 4s, I'd still be on the 5.1.whateverversionJBthat was.

Hmm... All of you raise some good points... That would really suck if 7.1 were unjailbreakable. I almost wish that they would've held off on the iOS 7 jailbreak until 7.1 like they did for 6.1. I've read about the whole debacle though so I can see why it happened the way it did... 7.1 comes out in what, March? Maybe I'll just wait 'till Feb and hope there will be indications that they will be able to JB 7.1. If not I'll jump on the 7.0.4 JB.

Looks like beta 4 has closed a kernel exploit... Hope this doesn't mess up the 7.1 jailbreak.

I guess we have around three weeks or so to make a decision unless beta 5 comes out.

A new kernel exploit would be needed for a iOS 7.1 jailbreak so a 7.1 jailbreak is very unlikely now.
