    Hey

I'm currently running evasi0n jailbreak on iOS 6.1 and I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade to iOS 6.1.2?

I have an iPhone 4. No I haven't done that, as a matter of fact I have no idea what that even means Is it important? Is it something that I can do now?

It is important and you cannot do it now. Without shsh, you cannot accomplish this restore. Your only option would be a tethered jailbreak on 6.1.3.

Alright, thanks! If I updated to iOS 7 Beta, could I then later go back to 6.1.3?

You're best off not going to iOS 7.

It's an early beta. It's going to have problems. Anything you can do with the betas, you can find a tweak to handle. There's a thread around here somewhere about emulating iOS 7.

Alright, but I'm having hella lot problems with iOS 6.1 evasi0n right now. The battery time is HORRIBLE and it's lagging and crashing every now and then. So I guess I have to go with 6.1.3 tethered

To answer your other question, right now you could go back to 6.1.3, as that is the latest official firmware. After iOS 7 is out, I cannot say that will still be true.

And you think a beta would be a solution?

No, I think 6.1.3 would be a solution. As I wrote.

And FYI, I'm currently running iOS 7 beta 2 and the battery time is a LOT better than previous.

Do I really need to state the obvious?

Both iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 7 improved my battery time. I tried 6.1.3 first and my battery problems were gone. And now I'm currently experimenting with iOS 7, the battery consumption is the same as 6.1.3.
