Ok so i've been reading and trying to figure this out and almost ended up bricking the phone.
I have a 3gs, on IOS 6, jailbroken, using baseband 6.15 and new bootrom (serial XX115XX). I tried doing the downgrade through redsn0w and ran into major issues. Since i used snowbreeze to install a custom ipsw with cydia etc.. i dont think it installed any fix for the issue (which i've read was fixed a while ago). Is it because redsn0w doesn't recognize the 6.1 ipsw yet that i can't successfully downgrade?
So i'm really unsure of how to fix this. But when i unlock the phone with ultrasnow i get a signal fine but location services drops it continuously. Is there any hope for me?
