BiteSMS on iOS 6.1

The new BiteSMS which I think is still in beta has this funny little quirk. When you respond the screen just cuts off right away. The app works perfectly so it's more of an annoyance. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too? I'm hoping they will eventually fix it because it is a bit jarring every single time it happens.

If it happens on your lock screen quick reply, it's a setting. I think it says dim after reply that you need to turn off.

Yeah, it's a setting. Exactly as described
From Bites main app:
settings > quick
Compose > "dim when done"
