Unjailbreaking 4s to update

My ipsw file is corrupt, per iTunes, so I cannot go to 5.1.1 without getting a new ipsw. I have an ipsw for 6.1, is it safe to restore my 4s to 6.1 then use evasion?

yeah, just plug it into itunes, and update. then jailbreak
