Factory unlock service

Well I read few forums and say some eBay sellers are now selling unlocking service I got one from unlock fusion for like $17 and 24 hours later got email telling me to backup and restore. After the restore I did get a message from iTunes saying my phone is unlocked. so if you travel over seas and need your iPhone unlocked go to eBay and get it unlocked. Think it's only available for AT&T iPhones only right now

hey, I've just bought the service... apparently I need to connect my phone to iTunes and backup + restore.

the restore option is disabled though...

do you know what could it be?

Try updating iTunes.

I downloaded a brand new version in different PCs. I also updated them. No luck so far.

I think it is probably be related to the jailbreak.

Yeah it has to be the jailbreak. Try putting the phone in DFU mode and try restoring.

yeah I tried it and worked... too bad I lost some stuff I had, but the unlocking service worked PERFECT.

I am planing on upgrading to the new i5. Do you think I should jailbreak my phone before putting it on eBay. Also I'm out of contract with Verison. Will they unlock the phone for me
