Hello. Awhile back, my friend gave a website which has a lot of free iphone and ipad games and apps. Does anybody know what i'm talking about?

If you mean cracked apps, you're on your own to find that. iMore has a very strict policy that discussions of piracy/theft are not tolerated. Try google. Or bing. Otherwise, the Apple AppStore has plenty of legitimate free apps and games.
