Help with 5.1.1

hello i have an iphone 4s and its running ios 5.1.1 (9b206) and ive tried redsn0w and absinthe both do not work on reds0w it gets stuck at backing up at 98% and on absinthe the progress bar does not move at all please help

are you using a Win or Mac machine?

depending on which OS you may have to run admin privileges

i did right click and ran as admin on both of em

hmm try restarting your pc and reboot your device. then try again

just to confirm, the JB programs have downloaded properly, correct?

hmm i would assume so but not 100% certain as this is my first time JB

this may seem a little extreme but i would Restore as New iPhone - jailbreak (Absinthe) - then load desired backup onto device afterwards

Install a program called ccleaner (google it) and run it. It will clean any temp files you have that may be causing an issue. Clean and restart computer. Once done make sure iTunes is closed and run the jailbreak utility as admin.
