So after upgrading to the world of Android phones, I sought to sell my iPhone for a quick profit. And I need to jailbreak it before I do so.
This has proven more difficult than I expected.
I did keep my iPhone 3Gs away from version 5, but it was still at 4.3.5 which I have read as the one that can't been jailbroken.
So I sought to downgrade it to 4.3.4, following the common process of putting the phone in recovery mode, altering a file to trick itunes into something and then selecting your file to recover to.
And then each time I get the error 3194.
Looking into it, it seems that because I'm late to the jailbreak part, and that I have none of these 'blobs' stored on some server and thus leaves it impossible. Though I keep reading really, really rough guides on doing it without blobs on various forums.
Is this the end of the road, or can anyone direct me to a comprehensive guide on downgrading to 4.3.4 without blobs?
Or are there any other alternatives I haven't discovered?
