No joy in Mudville for me on my Vzw-iP4S.
Other members are having joy, but after a restore. Others have gone straight through.

Mine is done (restoring with XBackup now).

I restored to 5.1.1 (I had it from downgrading). I set it up as a new phone. I then jailbroke with Absinthe, am in the process of restoring my cydia tweaks, and when I am sure all of that is working properly, will restore to my backup.

My problem is similar to everyone elses. Have a 4S on verizon. I have both a MAC and a PC and I tried it on both. I get the "hmmm..something went wrong" message. Can't wait for this to be friggin resolved!

via iTunes - There is a button that says if you are having problems 'restore', then you restore your back after this or set up as a new phone.

So what did you do Chef? Do you have to reboot it yourself (how?)? Was your jb a success?

No reboot, it appears like you phone/ipad is restoring about 4/5 into the process.

    Have you tried restoring?

Restore if you are still having problems.

I'm not resetting anything because I am running out of time (work in a few hours) hope it will just go through without resetting everything.

I didn't reboot and jailbreak was a success. Although I can't install anything from cydia ATM. I'm assuming because of the large volume of traffic.

I was having the same issues everyone else is having. I did a full restore, set up as new phone, and ran Absinthe again via Mac. The JB conpleted sucessfully, and I now have Cydia.

    nope. ONE click process

i also noticed that it loads Cydia for you this time. before you had to tap on the Absinthe icon then it would load Cydia, weird

It's hanging on "Waiting for reboot - not done yet, don't unplug your device yet!" nothing seems to be happening. What should I do?

If it doesn't go through - Restore you device and then run jailbreak again.

It should take about 8 mins.

I've got a black Verizon iPhone4s and mine went smoothly. Started Absinthe, went to take care of some personal business and when I came back, there was Cydia. Took less than 10 minutes.
