How 'bout AnyLockApp? Haven't tried it myself (I don't have the slide-to-unlock UI) but it allows installation on 5.1.

although i was able to set up this method myself, this is not what i am looking for

i am wanting to be able to use the Camera Grabber tweak to open Camera+, not the stock camera app

If you have ifile you can probably edit the plist file in the camera grabber and change to the camera+ app
