going from 5.0.1 to 5.1

my iphone 4 is running 5.0.1 jailbroken and i would like to upgrade to 5.1. do i just need to make a list of the apps i got from cydia, update through itunes and then re-jailbreak/ resinstall my apps? also which ispw do i need for redsn0w? 5.0, 5.0.1 or 5.1? thanks everyone for your help

unfortunately if you upgrade the ONLY jailbreak available will be tethered

you might want to stay where you are until an untethered JB is available for the iPhone 4 (5.1)
