    In the Bitesms settings, try setting the Default Send Method as "via Mobile Carrier." Either way it in the settings it says, "Preference is always iMessage."

    Also AFAIK iMessage will be attempted but if they person has no data then it sends as SMS text. Regardless of bite. That's how iMessage functions.

    ive had an issue a few times with bite, where it doenst send an imessage automatically, i solved it by open default messaging app, and started the message, to "jumpstart" it into i message mode, then went back to using bite... i think its just a little bug and will be fixed by the time final is released, as always though post this on bite forum for martin to take a look at so he knows its happening, they are pretty awesome with fixing this stuff
