Contact and SMS Photos

I'm using biteSMS atm, and i don't want this to be a discussion about why biteSMS is great, but it's slow for me, and i'd like to replace it with an app or combination of apps that add photos to my contacts & message list and message windows
i used 'copic', but it seemed buggy in a way.
i know about ChatPic, but i was wondering if you guys knew of others

While you it doesn't allow for a themed sms background (a bug the developer is working on), it does the trick and it's free.
