ive been reading articles all over google and other forums, where people swear that jailbreaking a device can heavily drain the battery. i would say i was using my phone more than usual yesterday, but the phone was down to 20% after being unplugged from 4pm-midnight. frankly, i think thats horrible battery life.....even worse than my blackberry 9860 EVER was. my phone was unplugged for like 30 or so minutes and only sent a few texts and it was already starting to make its way south of 98-97%.
is jailbreaking really that much harder on battery life? i was content with my blackberry being in the 3%/hr discharge rate with normal use. when i first got this phone, before actually using it, i had it sitting on my desk on wifi only and unplugged. with the sleep button active and just having it sit there, it went over 12 hours without dropping from 100%. now i know mobile network drains are alot higher, but maybe someone can shed some light on what the basic battery life is like for these things since im new to them.
