Bootlogo not working

So, I had the greenpoison Bootlogo app under OS 4, and when I upgraded to OS 5, I retained the app through a backup. I figured when it didn't work under the tethered jailbreak that was because of the tethering process, but I'm surprised to see that it still doesn't work with the untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak. Has anyone had any success with this under 5.0.1?
