nothing shows up in settings? help!

jailbroken iphone 4 on 5.0.1, jailbroke fresh through redsn0w on b1, then b2, then today b3, and when i download a cydia app, nothing shows up. such as spire, it shows the siri part but in the settings main menu it wont show up, same with sb settings, and zephyr.... is there something im missing?

Not every Cydia app has Settings options, and for some you reach the app settings from within the app itself. SBSettings for example doesn't put anything into the usual Settings app.

Ok, what about spire, and zephyr? They def do.

And when i go to activator it says im in safemode.. So i respring and it still says i am, i noticed in cydia theres something called substrate safemode, do i have to remove that?

No, don't remove that. Can you give a list of what you installed/the steps you took when jailbreaking?
