4.26 Cydia apps on 5.01 Jailbreak

I successfully upgraded my phone to 5.01 and jailbroke via redsn0w last night. I used AptBackup to backup all of my cydia apps and settings and used the restore option to reinstall from the backup. However, i'm getting the mobile substrate errors upon boot up. I'm assuming this is because some of the apps aren't released for 5.01.

How can I find out which apps are causing the conflicts so i can remove them? My last resort would be to write them all down and remove them one at a time until i find the culprit.

Any ideas?

Not sure what your errors are, but if it's actually crashing to Safe Mode you could try installing Crash Reporter, which will give you a list of suspected causes after any crash.

Alternatively, you could try looking at an iOS 5 compatibility list, although they aren't always up to date: List Of iOS 5 Compatible Cydia Apps & Tweaks | Redmond Pie

Yes, it is crashing into Safe Mode.

The weird thing is that i had Crash Reporter on my phone before i did the 5.01 jailbreak so aptbackup should have restored it but it's not there.

Or, open cydia... And if there is an app that you have that has been upgraded to ios5 you can update it... And if not, it's not ios5 compatible... Right???

After installing crash reporter, it told me the culprit was Alphacon. I removed it and resprung and life was good. No more safe mode errors.
