    Hi,

I have a US AT&T unlocked Iphone 3GS running on ios 3.1.3 and baseband 05.12.01. I would like to upgrade to the latest ios5 to take advantage of the icloud functionality. I am currently running my phone on O2 network and I don't have the original AT&T sim. Is it possible to do this currently or do I need to wait for some time ?

    Thanks for your help !

Right now all iOS 5 jailbreaks are tethered, meaning you would have to plug your phone in a computer every time it runs out of battery or you power it down.

If you're okay with that follow this tutorial. Just make sure in Step 4 to go to Expert Mode - General and check the box that says Activate the iPhone.

There are always the semi-tethered if i remeber correctly, so you must plug the device in a computer only to call...
