I can't find a setting in ISX, Weather app settings or otherwise that will show 5 or 6 days of weather on the ISX screen, but I see it on people's screenshots and videos. Can someone tell me how to get multiple days (instead of just one day) of weather to appear?

you should be able to swipe the weather widget left or right to view the 6 day forecast

Thanks, I'll try those settings and see what happens. I do use the FB feed, and it works well--which is what confused me about the Twitter feed seeming so buggy. But maybe the issue is on Twitter's end more than inside of ISX.
Finally figured out my Twitter issue with the help of ISX dev planetbeing. I had Twitter set up to only use HTTPS, which was conflicting with the ISX settings; he sent me a new .deb, and as soon as I installed it everything was perfect. My hat is off to a guy ready to do that for a user at 1am on a Friday night.

He mentioned that the fix will be included in an upcoming release, but for now I imagine that a workaround for anyone else experiencing a blank Twitter feed would simply be to turn off the "Always use https" setting in your Twitter web settings.

Battery life has been surprisingly goodI thought ISX would chew it up. Instead, I've actually stopped checking my usage. I'm sure it uses it, but what can you do? If it isn't ridiculous, that's just the cost of such a full featured tweak. I will try to get some hard numbers for you though.

If you're worried about missing things, another idea is to only turn off apps that get status bar icons in ISX: mail, SMS, and phone. For most people that covers most notifications but still alerts you to game/social media stuff.

That said, I've got them all off and it works great for me.

agreed, sometimes you just gotta look at where you are at certain points of the day. in my case i used to think if i was at 75% by lunch time and around 50% by the time i left work i was doing good

now, since updating to 5.0.1 and the official release of ISX, it seems i am consistently around 90%-85% by the lunch hour and 75%-65% by the time i leave work. another thing is i have the ability/opportunity to bump charge at almost any time of the day. it seems like some people i know refuse to do this for some reason

honestly, i think these Deve have done a magnificent job with battery performance. it boggles my mind as to why some people are still talking about "major battery drains"

someone suggested i load LI (beta of course) and use the default Popup Blocker. so Ashman updated that one and not the stand alone?? not too excited about loading all of that just for Popup blocker

anyways, i am going to give it a try with them all off first. plus it will give me another excuse to look at ISX more often?!

The popup blocker in LI works but the only option is to block all alerts; at this point, doing it natively gives you more flexibility. (You can still get banners when unlocked btw.)

well that sucks. when turning the native "View in Lock Screen" > OFF i am getting the notification in ISX and a banner as soon as i unlock the LS

now i see what you were talking about. is there a workaround for this?

didn't know if anyone else knew this or not but you can move your feeds around the NC by selecting Edit, within the ISX settings, and grabbing the handles and moving them up or down

by default it goes as follows: Mail | NC | FB | Twitter | RSS

    here's how mine is configured:

That's also how you drag things into and out of your Top Shelf and ISX pages (I moved the RSS reader out of ISX and into Hidden for instance).

Regarding the banners on unlock, do you get them if you delete those notifications in the LS? Or if you use Mark As Read there?

this happens if I do not delete or mark as read, just unlock after the notification

Okay, unscientific update: with 2 hours usage and 9 hours standby I'm at 75%. Don't know how that compares, but I will note that the building I work in has terrible cell penetration, which often translates to increased usage from "Searching" moments. Still, I'm more than happy with my battery life.

that's not bad at all. one of my issues with the entire jailbreak scene is the fact that battery performance always seems to take a hit somewhere-sometime. not the case at all with my current setup. probably the best it's ever been in the 2+ years of being jailbroken collectively for me

Same here. Though Cydia is the least stable it has ever been for me, my iP4 seems very stable. My battery life seems to be much better and I have ISX and a handful of other JB apps installed. I am at 75% with WiFi on all day and 2 hours on the phone as well as multiple Twitter/FB/email activity. Also not "scientific" but I think most of us know how our battery is generally doing and mine is definitely better on 5.0.1 than 4.2.8, though I don't know why.

the ISX Ticker will only show your unread feeds. so after viewing the appropriate page feed it will no longer be able to be viewed in the ISX Ticker

The update addresses a tiny annoyance I had with the previous version. When I would turn my screen on from "deep sleep" my screen would blink and remain in "deep sleep" until I did it a second time. That's gone now though.

Did anyone else have that problem or no?

the only thing i experienced, intermittently, was the ISX Ticker would delay but that was early in the beta stages

Finally got it sorted out and BiteSMS working. I removed Callbar even after it was updated, so we'll see if the respringing stops now. Callbar is a nice app, just doesn't play well with ISX and others. Love the new text feature without unlocking the phone, even more worth the buy.
