I have a friend's iPhone from Sweden (originally on "3" or "tre") that I am trying to get activated here in Canada. I bought a microsim from a company here and obviously I can't activate the iPhone through traditional routes. I am looking for help or advice. I think I've screwed up fatally but hey I'd thought I'd give it a shot:
1. The iPhone has been restored and has iOS5 in iTunes
2. I've jailbroken it with the latest redsn0w (9b6)
3. I can't get to the home screen.
Do I have to wait for the Gevey SIM to come out for iOS 5 on iPhone 4 jailbreak this phone? Or must I wait until the newest jailbreak has covered all basebands? I think I can retrieve my IMEI but I don't know what else I need.
I was thinking I could use the info from the thread, guidance?
