iPhone 4 with ios5 unlock for tmobile jailbreak??

Can i unlock or jailbreak my iphone 4? Its baseband is 04.11.08 I just want to unlock it for tmobile..

That BB is iOS 5, and no Gevey can unlock it at the moment.

No.. your BB is updated with each iOS version released, and is the same across the entire iPhone platform per device - 3GS may be different from 4, but a tmobile vs AT&T iPhone 4 will be the same.

If you've already upgraded to iOS 5, you've locked yourself into the current baseband, and to date the only way to unlock it is to use Ultrasn0w, and that only works if your baseband is:

iPhone 4 - 01.59.00
iPhone 3/3GS - 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04

If your BB is any of the above, you can unlock successfully with a jailbreak and download of ultrasn0w, which are both free..

Just unlocking, as in order to get it, you need to be jailbroken already.

As of this post date, there are only tethered jailbreaks available, which mean you need to plug it in to a computer every time you reboot your device, or it remains in an unusable state requesting you restore it in iTunes (and essentially removing the Jailbreak). An Untethered jailbreak has no limitations, and is currently being held hostage by ic0nic, to be released shortly.

wanted to share a new piece of info i stumbled upon on the internet, that some folks restored their iphone 4 with I-Tunes version 10.4 and that brought them back to iOS 4.3.5 and BB 4.10.01...and that BB can in fact be unlocked via Gevey "Blue" Ultra Sim... Then a few days later there was a comment from someone that it was no longer possible... I am at work right now but may try at least restoring tonight.....if anyone else wants to do it, please share your results on here with others.
