Do not use jailbreakme.com

Jailbreak developers Comex and Musclenerd are trying to spread the word that the person who owned the jailbreakme.com domain has sold it, and they can no longer guarantee what will be available there. And as Musclenerd mentions, it could become a way to deliver malware to iDevices if it was sold to unscrupulous parties.

The good news is that they still own jailbreaks.me and have no plans to sell it. It's still in the works but should be live soon, and will replace jailbreakme.com. In the meantime, please help spread the word!

Why wouldn't Comex or Musclenerd just buy the domain to make things easier. If they still own jailbreakme wouldn't it make things easier instead of having to worry and not having a site up running jailbreakme

The website "jailbreakme.com" has recently been bought and transferred to our favorite, Jay Freeman (Saruik). The website has been restored to working condition and can continue to be used for jailbreaking iDevices.
