help stuck in apple logo mode

pleaase help!!! my phone shut off, don't know how or when but the batt shouldn't have been dead. i tried every trick i could find on the net to put in dfu mode or boot tethered now. i follow the tether and i just keep getting apple logo on a black screen. i won't even show up on my comp or iTunes. any thoughts?????

forgot to mention its unlocked with the latest version of red snow and i use 4.3.4 firmware.
i was at 4.3.5 when i unlocked it a few weeks ago. dead in the water with no phone

Mike, try fooling the tip under section "What is DFU mode and Recovery Mode?", in this thread and see if it resolves your problem. Keep in mind that it can take several attempts before you get your iPhone into this mode. What is DFU mode and Recovery Mode?
