Upgrade iOS 3.1.3 (7E18) to latest iOS - Already Unlocked & Jailbroken

How can I safely update my iOS from 3.1.3 3.1.3 (7E18) to the latest version of iOS? My iPhone 3GS is already unlocked and jailbroken.

the latest version of iOS is only a tethered JB so use tinyumbrella to see what blobs you may have and then upgrade to that using tiny to fool the shsh part but make sure to you sn0wbreeze to update the actual iOS because it will save your older modem firmware.
