ATT iphone 3g to Verizon iphone4 jailbreak before sync???

My wife has an att iphone 3g. I got her an iphone4 with verizon. Before I sync her songs, contacts, pics etc. from her phone to itunes and then to the new verizon iphone4 should I jailbreak first or after the sync. Currently running iOS4.2.8 for verizon

You can Sync first, as everything will still be on there after you Jailbreak it.
