i especially like the "Always Show Button" option, something i hope Apple will implement in iOS 5 by the final release

Nice find.

Installed and using with LockInfo 3.0. Doesn't work well when you hide the "Slide to Unlock" and "Always Show" in the CameraLock settings.

I got around that by installing "No Dock Background IOS4", and "No Slide to Unlock". Now i see the arrow on the left, and the camera app on the right. Lockinfo comes through behind and between them.

If I already use Activator to launch my camera app from the lockscreen, does this give me any added benefit, or is it just that it provides a button icon?

Edit: Just saw that it was updated to allow camera access even if the phone is passcode locked! That's the killer feature that Activator couldn't get around...off to download!

Well...I just installed it, so I'll have to see. But if it works well, I'd love to have both passcode security AND camera access from the lockscreen. I'll report back after a bit...

By the way, thought you might want a screenshot:

looks clean. an obvious issue with this tweak (when in Always Show Button mode) is the slider text is out of place, even when you select the hidden option it still appears in certain situations. i hope someone will update this thread if/when that gets fixed

also, anyone that has played around with iOS 5 will notice that when activating from sleep mode you only had to double click the home button. with this tweak you have to triple click..

Really? I thought I only double-clicked. Not sure now since I set it to always show the button at the lockscreen.

Just opened the slider images in photoshop and made them transparent. They're still there, you just can't see them.

There's also an option in the settings to "Hide Slider Label" but I haven't tried it since mine are already transparent.

If you select "hide slider label" in Lockinfo, it will also take away the camera app. I'll try the Photoshop. Never used it so it will be a new experience. Thanks.
