I can't locate iPhone2.1_4.3.28H7_Restore ipsw after running redsn0w 0.9.6rc14.

From iClarified, following Step one... I dl'd redsn0w and dl 4.3.2 (3GS): iPhone2,1_4.3.2_8H7_Restore.ipsw into the Pwnage folder, I exact both into the Pwnage folder.

When I run redsn0w, select browse, I can't find iPhone2,1_4.3.2_8H7_Restore.ipsw. the only folders that appear are: Firmware folder > all-flash & dfu. Nothing with ipsw.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Are you using a Mac or Windows? When the window opens you just browse to the location you have it saved. How did the ipsw download? I've heard sometimes it's a zip and if that's the case you have to rename it and change zip to ipsw. You don't need to extract it.

Ok, it was the latter, had to rename the file & that seemed to work, but here's the new problem...

Worked through step 10 (DFU mode), but at the end of the sequence, I get this msg: "No device detected." Yes, powered off phone & it was connected to computer. Right now, I can not turn my iPhone on.

Solution?

~ Thanks ~

iTunes shouldn't be open and once the device is in DFU mode redsn0w should be doing it's process. So close iTunes and restart redsn0w if it's not doing anything. The iPhone should be left in DFU mode just let it sit there and this time redsn0w should go through it's processes.
