Have any of you guys tried Barrel 2? It's got some really cool animations to make your icons do different things when you scroll from page to page. I love it! It's not useful for anything, but looks cool.

Barrel 2 is kind of an unofficial release...if I remember right you could access the features B2 "adds" by altering some preferences in Barrel. They were basically Easter Eggs in the original release; I think B2 is just a version of Barrel with those preferences already altered, compiled and released by someone besides the original dev.

Check again, Barrel has received a few updates in the past two weeks. I think the latest additions are "Carousel" and "Flippy".

Barrel costs $3 and is worth every penny.

1) Yes, it runs fine with 4.3.1
2) No, it does not require winterboard

as I stated previously: Its worth every penny!

Yes -- and there are now 14 effects you can choose from (started with just two), and I don't notice any effect on battery life or performance with my iPhone 4....
