Jailbroke last night. Mail app stopped working.

I jailbroke last night after I got home from work. After messing around with it for a while I checked my email, err attempted to. I tapped the mail app and it wouldn't open. I tried opening up iPod and it wouldn't open either. The sleep/power button wouldn't work either.
I did a full restore this morning.
I would like to keep my iPhone jailbroken. Maybe it was a bad install?
Has anyone else had this issue?

I just JB my 3GS on Friday and my mail has been acting up a bit. Mine does work most of the time but overnight it stops receiving push mail and then of course Lockinfo doesn't get any updates either. This morning I had 6 emails that were not showing up in Mail or Lockinfo. I did a respring and it started working again. That's my solution but odd that it only stops working overnight.

That is very odd. Mine seems to be working fine on my 3Gs.

No email problems here. Just redo a clean install and re jailbreak. Or try removing the account and adding it again.
