Brand New iPhone 4 Owner

Hello everyone, I am new to these forums. I have been reading them for awhile now but I just decided to finally join. I have owned an iPhone 3GS for sometime, which is now my wife's phone because I just got the iPhone 4 this past weekend. Here is my question. I have jail broken my 3GS before a few times but have yet to try and jailbreak my new iPhone 4. It is running the new 4.2.1 iOS and I was wondering how can I jailbreak it? Also my wife's 3GS is not jail broken ATM, due to the fact that it is also running 4.2.1 iOS.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Latest Redsnow will JB both on 4.2.1, but IP4 will be tethered while the 3GS could be untethered (with old bootrom) or tethered (with new bootrom).

Untethered JB for 4.2.1 has not been released yet, should be any day, but they've been saying that for a couple of weeks now. You can't revert/downgrade your iOS, unless you have saved a SHSH, to your PC with the older iOS.
