Bite sms beta question

I just loaded Bite sms beta and now I have a red ! on the top right of the app, just like a notification. Any ideas why and how to get it off? I cant stand having red # or ! on my screen. Thanks for looking.

Have you looked inside to see if you have any failed messages?
