Thank the lord. I tried using tlert and...it was not fun. Kept screwing up my screen rotation.

Will reinstall when I get home (and can download via wifi).

hi. sorry for the delay and hopefully you have figured this out already..

it should be just a simple toggle within your notifier tweak. i prefer using the biteSMS version as it will display the amount of texts in waiting..

beta 13 has been released tonight and the final release should go public on Monday - as per the dev

My biteSMS 5.1.11 has a red ! On the app icon. If I go to cydia, it doesn't show an upgrade available. I am on a trial, does anyone know what it means?

Usually a failed message. Open the app and see if you have any messages that didn't go through.
