Coming from JB 3.1.2, can't seem to jailbreak 4.2.1 via Redsnow

Hi, so what I did was restore via itunes to 4.2.1 using SHIFT + rightclick, and selected the file that i downloaded from redmondpie. I received a 1011 error. Then I used redsnow to flash and install cydia. That went by fine but after all this, instead of booting to normal screen, it went straight to recovery mode. I tried installing cydia again via redsnow and again, it went straight to recovery mode. I tried rebooting tethered via redsnow and it ALSO went to recovery screen...

now i dont know what to do.

can someone please help?

OH, im running on WINDOWS so i cant run pwnagetool.

And the fix was????? I really hate when people post questions, then come back and say they fixed or found a fix and never post how they did it.

dam now thats is not right if you found out how to fix why dont you post how you did like right now my friend is having this problem and i was going to post for him and ask how to fix it and you just post back (found out fix delete thread ) really not cool..
