Many may already know this but I had an unlockable 3gs, so I used limerain when it came out, seemed to work but cudia wouldnt work properly. So, I deleted it and re-jb'd...well, it wouldnt jb again, not with either tool.
No shsh saved cuz cydia never worked, so finally I gave up and clicked restore and d/l 4.1 and let it install. To my SURPRISE the baseband remained 1.59!
The only difference with my computer is I do have the hosts file pointing to Cydia rather than Apple, but nothing else special was done. I didnt use a special cooked version of 4.1, just a real 4.1 I d/l.
