Jailbreak Sync error

Hello,

I have the 64Gb iPhone 3gs with 4.1. I have managed to jailbreak using limera1n which went well. I have Cydia installed and everything looks okay, bar Syncing. Two applications fail, reporting error 0xE8008001

Should I being using iTunes to sync? if not, how should one sync now the phone is JB?

I have managed to overcome this by installing Appsync 4.1
