bitesms notification in status bar

Open biteSMS and go to the settings. Unlock Screen Mode > Features > Quick List and turn it off.
Do the same for Lock Screen Mode if you don't want to see it there either.

wait i don't want to remove the list that shows up in the middle of the screen, I'm talking about the little bubble on the right hand side of the time in status bar, to the left of the battery meter.

Not sure if you can turn it off completely w/out also turning off the list, but you CAN at least turn off the number count. (Same place in settings, bottom of the screen.)

just curious, why do you want it removed?

for me, i like it so if i miss one and then receive another i'll know by glancing at the status bar

because i was thinking of get a cydia app that caters to all notifications and I don't want them to overlap. Yea I know its pretty petty but that's how I am. Thanks a lot for your input guys.

You might be able to configure the other app to use everything BUT its text notification. I use Notifier just for the email notification and use the bite one for SMS.
