LockMS battery issue

Hi all. I've been using the lockms lockscreen theme for the last few days and have suffered a serious battery hit. Anyone had a similar issue? It comes bundled with a weather icon and two tap to unlocks, none of which I use. Would manually deleting those parts of the theme help?

I really like the theme (basically Typophone 4 with some color) but I'm not sure I can deal with the battery drain.

Sorry, it's a 24 hour clock and the TTUs, not a weather plug-in.
