So i'm dying for the Jailbreak for Iphone 4.1 to come out and in the meantime im checking out cool cydia apps to download, and i came across one that got my imagination running.
"3G unrestrictor" and what this app does, is "trick" your Iphone into believing that you're running on Wifi connection instead of 3g connection, and it has the option to use this on the App Store (to download apps bigger then 10mb) or youtube.
SO let me get to the point
If there is an app that tricks your phone into thinking it has wifi, whats the possibility of an app that allows your iphone to think it has wifi AND allows you to use that wifi to tether and have it on my laptop as well?
IF there such thing please post it here!! if not, developers pretty please =)?

There is a Cydia app called Tether, and also one called PDANet that allow you to tether your phones connection to your PC or Laptop

But to do so do you actually have to have wifi connection? or will it "trick" the phone and pc/mac into having it

Mywi allows you to create a wifi hotspot from your existing 3G connection so you can tether it to laptops or the ipad...
