Alright, I'm new here so nice to meet you all....
I have a 3G 32GB iPod Touch OS 3.1.3 jailbroken with Spirit....
I've been doing some google detective work and it seems like jailbreaking with Spirit makes it complicated for an upgrade later on.. WTF
anyways.
so far I've connected to Itunes and synced my iPod with the Installous Sync to iTunes option. Its backing up everything right now.
Hopefully it will back up everything including my apps installed through cydia and Installous.
I have downloaded the 4.0 iPod Touch 3g firmware.
Now I'm supposed to restore to that firmware through Shift+Restore in iTunes,,,,,
1. After I upgrade to 4.0 and jailbreak, how do i restore my jailbroken apps and music and videos from the back-up into the new OS?
2. If it doesnt work, how do i re-jailbreak my iPod after restoring to my backup? Spirit again?
3. Did someone do a tutorial on this? if so, link me pl0x.
