Get os 4(.01/.02) with a jailbroken ipod touch without having to lose all my jb stuff

Hello,
I was just wondering if it was possible to update my ipod touch 3rd generation (currently running on 3.1.3) to os 4. My ipod was jailbroken using spirit; therefore I want to know if there is a way to update to new os without losing my jb content. I have looked all around web and have came to a dead end.
Please show links if you have an idea.

There is no way to update the firmware without losing your jailbreak and the stuff that goes with it. Best you can hope for is to back it all up using something like pkgbackup.
