When I jailbroke my iPhone 4 a month or so ago, I had Cydia save my 4.0.1 SHSH blobs. Well, when I bring up Cydia now, it says it has SHSHs on file for 4.0.2 as well as 4.0.1, but my iPhone 4 was never at 4.0.2. Anyone else seeing this??? What gives???

1)The SHSH blobs saved has nothing to do with what firmware your phone is running. Only what Apple is currently signing. Now, you can only save 4.0.2.

2) Once Cydia starts saving your hashes, it will continue to save future versions without you needing to anything. Thus, you start at 4.0.1 and Cydia will conintue to save 4.0.2, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0 and so on once they become available.

Thanks, guys. I'm not angry about it, I just wondered what was going on. Good to know that Cydia will automatically save my hashes for all versions going forward.
