How to degrade without jailbrake

Does anyone know how to degrade my iPhone from 4.0.2 to 4.0.1?

Every tutorial I know requires that you have already jailbroken, but I havn't so is there anyway to go back?

What iPhone do you have? If 3GS or iPhone 4, did you have your SHSH 4.0.1 hash saved with tinyumbrella? You didn't have to be JB to use tinyumbrella. If no about saving your hash, then you can't downgrade with 3GS or iPhone 4.
