sim card help please on 2g iphone

heya have just purchased a 2g iphone from ebay which is perfect in every way and has been jailbroken to 3.1.2 firmware but its locked to o2.If its been jailbroken can you add any sim or will have have to take it to a shop and have it unlocked,sorry if its a really dumb question but if you dont ask .....

No need to pay someone to unlock it. Since it's already jb, all u need to do is go into cydia and run ultrasn0w; that's a zero, then the phone will be unlocked.
